Solutions for the impacts on the environment

Solutions to address the problems mentioned:

- Save raw materials and electrical energy by not having to extract the aluminium from the bauxite.

- By recycling used aluminium, it uses only about 5% of the energy used to extract it from bauxite.

- Recycling used aluminium saves space, as dumping the unwanted aluminium requires the finding of space.

  1. In the video, it mentions on how the bauxite goes through the bayer process to form Aluminium Oxide. Can you explain more on the chemical reactions taking place?
